From idea to reality; Zac Clark, GM for the Johnson City Cardinals, had a dream of uniting sport and recreation professionals in the Northeast Tennessee region. In 2017 he consulted fellow sport and recreation professionals about his idea and on September 25th, 2018 the Alliance was born.

The Alliance strives to unite sport and recreation professionals to elevate the Northeast Tennessee region to be a leader in the sport and recreation industry. Our hope is that by forging networks and combining resources individual organizations will be able to reach their full potential.

The Alliance also seeks to engage students in our region. We believe that the Alliance is an indispensable resource not only for professionals, but students as well. Students will have access to professionals in the fields they dream of working in. In return, professionals will have access to students who need real world experience working in their fields.

The Alliance will meet once a month at various locations across the region. We will communicate ideas and opportunities from our organizations that will benefit the goal of the Alliance.
